The house is nestled in tree-lined Calle San Uriel, between two well maintained rose gardens in a quiet residential neighborhood. Guests have the freedom to relax in comfort in the house or the outside garden, stroll around this more privileged area of the city, or explore the historical center of Guadalajara which is easily accessible by frequent nearby public transit. We also use the same taxi service provider for those preferring to be picked up at the front gate. A short walk to Ave. Tepayac or Guadalupe will bring you to several restaurants of international cuisines, from great tacos to French bistros. Some of the most noteworthy restaurants in Guadalajara are in this area of the city.

While the house is in the style of Mexican architecture, it is mixed with modern and traditional furnishings from America and Mexico. Some amenities are offered in this home that are not offered in other fine accommodations in this business hub of the city, without the extra charge associated with them, such as printers, etc.

Corporate housing has become a popular resource for business colleagues to share an entire house for longer stays.We offer these options as well.

We have become a very popular and close home to stay in for the annual (FIL) which is the very important International Guadalajara Book Fair being held at the Expo Center starting at the end of November every year. It is located 6 blocks from this house. It is attended by 40+ countries. Meet book sellers, authors and readers of this well respected fair. This house has a lot of room to discuss your interests with attendees from all over the world, without the noise of an higher priced hotel lobby. Frankfurt, Germany, who has the largest book fair in the world, was our guest of honor in 2011. Make your reservations early for next November, 2012.

The guest rooms are all on the second floor and have very comfortable beds. Your laptop can be used anywhere in the house, as it is wireless enabled for high speed internet access @ 20 Mb/sec with excellent router reception.

This is a non-smoking property,(inside of the house), although there are locations outside on the front patio as well as the back patio and yard.
